Hundreds of passengers blocked the Morro Alto bus station, in the city of Vespasiano, BH Metropolitan Region, early in the morning of February 19, against poor transport conditions in the region. Protesters also partially banned the MG10 highway, at the time of the "administrative city", headquarters of the state government. The protest was summoned by the Popular Front by public transport.
The situation of public transportation of MG has been increasingly denounced by workers by the poor condition. Months ago, protesters closed the Justinópolis bus station , also in Vespasian, to denounce the conditions of transport.
This year, the popular struggle follows. At the beginning of the year, a protest took the capital of Minas Gerais against the increase in the fare , which rose from R $ 4.50 to R $ 5.25 in Belo Horizonte and reaches R $ 20 reais in metropolitan buses.
