Today he resumes the march of the Indian farmers towards the new capital Delhi. In recent days they had stopped in the suburbs of Delhi waiting for a response from the government, but the answer has not arrived, indeed, the government led by the Hindu fascist ways continues to support multinationals, bringing to ruin the farmers and agricultural productions.

Even today, but already in the previous days, right at the beginning of the "Delhi Chalo" march (let's go to Delhi), the peasants on trucks and cart loads of food, bed linen and other supplies, they had clashed with the police, after that the negotiations with the government have not been able to bring to a commitment to the minimum prices guaranteed for a series of crops. The authorities have adopted rigid security measures in the neighboring areas with New Delhi. Hundreds of police officers in anti -isposa seal have been deployed between concrete blocks surmounted by barbed wire and containers destined to block the convoy. The security forces stopped the farmers on the Shamchu border, which separates Punjab and Haryana - the northern states to which most farmers belongs - almost 200 km from their destination. The demonstrators launched stones and tried to break down the barricades, the police and the paramilitary forces have used tear gas and water cannons. The security forces also used drones to launch tear gas candlelines on farmers who, in response, launched Kite in the sky in the hope of harnessing drones. Several farmers unions said they would protest against the police action by blocking railway traffic in various Punjab locations for four hours on Thursday.

And, in the middle of the protest of the current farmers, the Communist Party of India (Maoista) has extended its support to the protesters located currently along the border between Punjab and Haryana.

According to a copy of the press release issued by the Maoist party, the Maoists extended their support for the appeal for a block day given by the unions of the farmers on Friday 16 February.

Through the press release, the Maoist Party said that the national government is favorable to multinationals and is dealing with farmers as the enemies of the state. In addition, making an appeal to the masses because they give their support to the aforementioned protest, the Maoists in the press release said that the government continued to ban the entry of the farmers on the border of the Village of Shamchu.

The press release also stated that all the requests of farmers are legitimate, but the government is not willing to satisfy them.
