After the march of March 8 in Medellín, which was highlighted for its mass and combativeness, the Mayor's Office of the Antioquia capital took a sign with the face of 8 women who participated in the march, accusing them of vandalism and damage to metroplus stations. Along with this poster several people belonging to the ruling classes such as Federico Gutiérrez and Andrés Julián Rendón, went out to criminalize the fair struggle of popular women on social networks. Some women were also intimidated and retained by the police for having green or purple scarves.
Some women's organizations have denounced the criminalization of the protest and under the slogans "fighting is not a crime" and "the woman looking for me" have promoted a campaign of denunciation in solidarity with the women indicated. This week they are inviting to paint a fabric and make a complaint. Some of the complaints made by these organizations is the speed with the old state condemns the popular struggle and the inefficiency and null from town.
