According to the newspaper The direct , an operation of the Mossos d’Esquadra has arrested 9 people in the metropolitan area of Barcelona for solidarity actions with the heroic Palestinian national resistance on February 7, when a great mass mobilization in the city was held.
The detainees are charged with crimes of public disorder, damage, illegal demonstration and criminal group, all of which can carry prison sentences. At the time of writing (on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 19), the detainees remain in police custody at the police station of the Cortes de Barcelona.
