Last week, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Defense Minister Bjørn Aril Gram met the lead in the state-owned arms group Kongsberg Gruppen and promised a billion contract for the delivery of NASAMs missiles.
- Kongsberg can now obtain parts from hundreds of subcontractors so that they can produce quickly when the orders come, Støre told the bourgeois newspaper VG.

Støre recently stated that the government will spend two per cent of Norway's gross domestic product on the armed forces during the current year, and in this way fulfill NATO's upgrading goals.
