Oslo: Revolutionary slogans
At Furuset, revolutionary slogans have been set up in several places, both slogans for IKF's international campaign for chairman Mao's birth and slogan in support of the Palestinian resistance struggle.
Kristiansand: Marking the Palestinian Land Day
On Saturday, March 30, the match committee participated in a mark of land day. Appeals were held and read poems, before the participants went by train through the center and sang and shouted slogans for a free Palestine.
Landdag, Yom Al-Arm, is marked annually in memory of the events on March 30, 1976, when 6 unarmed Palestinians were killed and around 100 were injured by Israeli forces, and 300 were arrested. This happened under a protest against Israel's plans to confiscate 2000 hectares of land from Palestinian farmers in Galilee. Landdag symbolizes the Palestinians' ties to its country and the fight against Israeli expansion, and the day is marked in Palestine with protests and planting olive trees to confirm their connection to the country.
Israel continues to seize large parts of Palestinian land and describes the areas as military zones, state land and other terms. From 1 November 2022 to October 31, 2023, Israel has approved the construction of at least 24,000 illegal housing units on Palestinian soil. On March 22, Israel declared the confiscation of 800 hectares on the occupied West Bank, and on March 6, Israel approved the construction of around 3500 new residential units in the West Bank.
