With the participation of about 500 demonstrators, an anti-war-anti-imperialist mobilization took place on Saturday, March 30, against the bases in Thessaly and the country, as well as against the country's involvement in the ASPIDES operation and the war plans of the US-NATO forces in Ukraine. The demonstration, which took place at the initiative of the Popular Struggle Front "Kostas Vidalis", was attended by organizations and collectives from all cities of Thessaly as well as from Athens and Thessaloniki. This was preceded by an open call by this Front for discussion and movement coordination. The KKE (m-l) also participated in the discussions that took place, stressing the need to develop an anti-war-anti-imperialist movement against the transformation of Thessaly and the whole country into a base of war for the murderers of the USA-NATO-EU peoples.
The demonstration was colored by the anti-imperialist-anti-war slogans of the demonstrators, with common ground the slogans of solidarity with the just Palestinian resistance and against the US-NATO bases in the region.
The presence of the forces of repression was intense, with about 10 riot police vans following the march from parallel roads, while a large volume of riot police was on the way to the 1st Army, which is one of the operations centers of the European imperialists in their intervention in the Red Sea, preventing the demonstrators from marching. However, the demonstration continued and ended in the central square, where it started.
The KKE(m-l) participated with a militant bloc, with the participation of comrades and comrades from all over Thessaly.
